BRANSON UPDATE - SPRING 2008
"The Ranking Brothers show speaks to all groups and all generations. Based on a belief that classic music is timeless, the Rankin Brothers project a love and respect for the music they play.

Along with their considerable vocal and muscial talents, the Rankin Brothers have a stage presence that audiences adore. With musical numbers from the 50’s to the 90’s, time seems to stand still as they take the ausience on a memorable journey with hits from Neil Diamond, The Righteous Brothers, The Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, Simon & Garfunkel, Elvis, Billy joel, The Beatles, Eric Clapton and more!”

REVIEW: The Rankin Brothers Classic Music Revue

“We very much enjoyed this show and give it 2 thumbs up and highly recommend it to everyone. We especially liked the Neil Diamond songs and the tribute to Buddy Holly, the audience seemed like they were liking it too, with a couple of folks dancing at their seats....we sat across the aisle from one on the "Six" show stars, (he is the blond guy with hair that is spiked) who also seemed to be enjoying himself. These 2 brothers, the band, the back-up singers and comedian are highly talented!!!! I predict this will be the show to see in "08....”

REVIEW: The Rankin Brothers Classic Music Revue

The Rankin Brothers are a new show appearing at the Starlite Theater. They come to Branson from Texas and despite their youthful appearance are seasoned entertainers. They share the mike performing a wide variety of 50's thru the 90's top 40 tunes. Something very noticeable is the fact that these guys have selected songs that are really difficult to sing.

Three ladies make up "The Rankinettes" and they provide background, and a few solos including a stunning rendition of "The Lords Prayer."

Not only did the band sound great, but the sax player sang "If I Could Just Hold You Again." Wow! Bravo!! Another song you don't want to try unless you have it going on.

The show also features a couple of segments by comedian Mike Bliss. ! I'd describe his style as moderately out of control. I laughed myself silly. Surely this guy is a third cousin to Carrot Top. Great job Mike!

Have you ever been to a show and waited and waited and waited to get an autograph after the show because the performers took forever to make it to the lobby? Well you won't be waiting for the Rankins, The Welk either has a secret tunnel or they were shot out of a cannon, because the whole crew was waiting for us when we exited. We had a nice talk and certainly they are as genuine as they could be. They are very nice and quite happy to be performing in Branson.

It shows..
Without question, The Rankins are on our list of shows for our summer guests. If you are ready for some top 40 oldies done like the originals, then you need to take in The Rankins!
